Raymond J. Quintin

Raymond J. Quintin (Ray) lives in Dartmouth with his wife, Karen.  He is a graduate of St. Anthony’s in New Bedford, Massachusetts, Bristol Community College and Roger Williams University where he majored in Criminal Justice.  He was a proud member of the New Bedford Police Department from 1977 through 1988.  He attended night school at New England School of Law in Boston and received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1988.  He currently concentrates his law practice on residential real estate matters, assisting both buyers and sellers negotiating Purchase and Sale Agreements, and working with all types of lending institutions.  He also assists clients with the preparation of estate plans, wills, and the filing of estates in probate court.

Ray is a member of the New Bedford Bar Association and the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association (REBA).  He has served on the Board of Directors of the New Bedford Festival Theater and on the Building Facilities Committee for Bishop Stang High School, where he has devoted many years of volunteer work as the videographer of both the football and the field hockey teams.  He has consistently dedicated his time to youth programs in the area, coaching in the Dartmouth youth baseball program and the Bay State Girls Softball League in New Bedford.  He also dedicated several years as the assistant Scout Master of Troup #24 of the Boy Scouts of America, where both of his sons achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.  Ray and his wife have spent many years working together with Missions for Humanity, a local group organizing annual trips to Africa to provide health care (including eye exams, dental care and pediatric care) to underprivileged Africans.

Ray enjoys spending time with his three children, Brian, Michael and Katie, his daughter-in-law, Natalie, and his granddaughter “Princess” Leah. He can often be found playing poker in local tournaments and is always good for a joke or two.
